I have been wearing the scram bracelet for three months now and i just ran into my first violation without consuming one drink of alcohol. I was at a party yes, but i did not drink one drink of alcohol once again for the record. According to the company some how my bac hit .14. it has hit .1 before and they didn't do ****. my bracelet was so loose i could spin it around my ankle and when it went off it was always loud like something was wrong with it. does anyone have anything that can help me. i promise i wasn't drinking. i have gone 3 months sober with 6 to go on scram. it pisses me off that now i am looking at nine months in jail and i didn't even ****ing drink.

Not being familiar with these things, I can only assume they do not alert you when your BAC spikes. Correct? You only find out when you are told by your PO?

My suggestion would be to avoid parties with alcohol. Perhaps the thing is sensitive to others' drinking? Since it seems to work on sweat, it may be susceptible to other alcohol influences.

I'd have to think it is not all that accurate a device and the conclusions are rebuttable. Perhaps you should speak to your attorney ASAP.
