What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas

My 15 yr old daughter made a false rape allegation report with the police at the end of 2010 while she was still 14. We are waiting to go to court because the DA has determined to take it to court. We are in Texas, it's her first "major" offense. She currently resides in an all girls home because she needed help beyond my medical exp and lack thereof. What shall I expect as far as her punishment? She also has a drug charge they will be adding to this court date as well. She lit a joint in class that some boys gave to her and the police picked her up and then took her to juvy, she was there 3 days and sent back to the girls home due to the Christmas holidays juvy sent all kids home or to where they were. Please any advice, thanks in advance!

Your daughter seems to be a very lost and troubled child. We cannot tell you what to expect without knowing specifically what she is charged with.

I do suggest that you get her local legal represenatation in addition to very intensive psychological counselling.
