My boss left the following message on my coworkers voicemail:

“Hi Ken, uhhh…I’ll call you back later, but uh…who copied the information from Carol’s worksheet to our worksheet? How can that be copied from 10 to 9? Could you find out? And we gotta do something, this is terrible, it seems like someone is purposely making mistakes, ok, lemme know, but don’t talk to Oscar and tell him what I told you. Thank you.”

Is this slander that can be pursued in a case? Not only did I not do this mistake on purpose, but the mistake itself happened in 2004 and the message was left a few weeks ago.

Thank you for any thoughts. Work conditions are currently very bad in the office thanks to my boss.

No, it's not slander.
