Situation dealing with my wife. She works as a newspaper carrier w/ driving routes picking up papers at a centralm location w/other carriers. This concerns a male carrier and his wife. My wife had a platonic friendship with the male carrier who apparently has a jealous wife. The jealous wife came to their warehouse, morning of Mar. 31st, pushed my wife against her car and told her to stay the f**k away from her husband---in front of plenty of witnesses.` after this, male carrier was told not to bring wife to warehouse anymore. He did at a later date.Since then we have recieved numerous phone calls --hang ups taht show on I.D. as unknown or pay phones with Cuyahoga Falls exchanges. These people live in Cuyahoga Falls area. The male carrier approached my wife the next eve. at their warehouse, screaming at her and verbally abusing her--later same eve. , wigfe calls our home # and to tell me about an "affair" There have been 2 instances where the wife has seen my wife driving in the vinicity of their home on a busy main well-traveled road and proceeded to follow her and give chase. Thev wife filed a complaint with a prosecuting attorney in their town accusing my wife of harrassing phone calls and driving past their house. When my wife met with the P.A., heb told her to stay out of the vicinity, including main roads. She has relatives and friends that live in the near area as well as her job asking to work in that area occaisionally. Two other attorneys informed us that the P.A. had no right to order any such thing. When she inquired about pressing charges for being confronted and pushed on her job and for chasing her by car9which she flat out stated to the P.A.) , she was told she couldn't. We just wanmt this to end. What would be any recourse we could take? There have been other threats made from the male carrier about other accusations to follow that aren't true>

File an assault charge against the wife. Don't let the cops talk you out of it. They have to take her report. List all the witnesses.

Sue wife for assault. Use the same witnesses. Get their statements in writing.

File for restraining orders against BOTH wife and coworker. Wife can't come within 100 yards of, or have any contact with, either of you. Have the order specifically acknowledge that your family sometimes needs to drive through their neighborhood. Coworker can't raise his voice to your wife or contact you in any way.

Send copies of all paperwork to the employer and request employer monitor the situation and take "appropriate steps" to protect your wife from coworker and his wife.
