My sons friend from Mexico lost his home due to no fault of his own. We agreed to allow him to live with us untill the school year ended. A few weeks went by and the kid began to act very strange. At first we and others suspected drug abuse. The behaviour continued and he was admitted to the hospital. They determined ...no drugs in system, not drug related......initial diagnosisi scizophrenia or bi polar.

The boys, girl friends parents insist he is on drugs, "the Dr`s don`t know what there talking about" and they facilitated him leaving the hospitall againt the advice of staff. They took him to their home and apparently were told by the kid (or at least they claim) that I was providing him with drugs which caused his problems. They have informed the school, health care workers, neighbors, parents of our sons friends ...etc that we have provided him drugs.

This is totally false, would be totally out of character for us and is a rediculous accusation that has no basis what so ever other than being told to them by a kid with a severe mental illness. The kid has since walked off from their home, been admitted to a crisis center facility and court will be held shortley to possibly make him a ward of the state and force him to be held for treatment. A social worker has taken over the case and also infomed us of the accusations also made to her. She knows of us and by no means believes any of it as do most others as far as we know. The accusers have also called the kids mother in Mexico and informed her of the same.

Help**************.....can we sue to stop these "idiots" and the false accusations which continue.

Yep... get about $10,000 or so for legal fees, costs, etc. and have your attorney file a lawsuit.
