My husband and I just received a summons for family court this week for our 13 year old daughter for truancy. She was absent 11 days in September and October due to illness. I sent the doctor's note and a note from us explaining her absences but the school considers them to be unexcused. She has not missed any other days since then and has high A's in all of her classes. What should we do and what can we expect from the family court appearance? The hearing is theis Friday!
