What is the name of your state? Alabama
This is a sticky sitution.About 15 months ago my husband did a
crazy thing. He bought a new truck for his sister, being that her
credit was not any good. The truck financing is completely in his name.
She was to make the payments.Thoughout the 15 months she
was always late with her payment, also bounced checks.Needless
to say destroyed our credit.Meanwhile, about a month ago my
husband has suffered with a stroke. We are out of work, and
on the verge of loosing everything we have worked for.We have
learned that she took out disability insurance that will pay for
this truck. My husband did not take this insurance for our car.
I can't help to feel angry and upset over this. Both she and her
husband are working and I don't feel they should beneifit from
our tragedy.Any advice????I have the forms to fill out but have not done so.She says she will continue to make payments, but
I know when the insurance starts paying she will never pay
another payment. They would not have this truck if it weren't
for her brother(my husband).I feel she should continue to make
her payment considering the pressure we are under. Please
help me with this problem. It's driving me crazy!!!!!!

Work something out with them. For example, each month they pay you half of the truck payment and you will send in the disability form.
