I live in NY State. My Family name is Weidhaas. My great grand aunt donated a bronze bust made by Enrico Caruso to a museum in Manhattan without the consent of the the family. I confirmed it is there. Question: Can the family re-claim a donation????
Thanks,
Cynthia Weidhaas

My response:

You never mentioned who was the ACTUAL owner of the bust. Was the owner the Aunt, or the "family Trust"?
