I WOULD LIKE TO SEEK CUSTODY OF MY NIECE AND NEPHEW (7 & 8 YRS OF AGE). CURRENTLY, THEY ARE LIVING W/MY GRANDMOTHER (WHICH IS GOOD), BUT THEIR MOTHER STILL HAS A GREAT INFLUENCE ON THEM DESPITE HER INABILITY TO BE THE MOTHER THEY NEED HER TO BE. SHE'S GOT A LOT OF ISSUES, BUT FAIL TO ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY, AND GET THE HELP SHE NEED. INSTEAD, SHE USE HER KIDS AS PAWNS TO GET THE FAMILY TO DO WHAT SHE WANTS. OUR BIGGEST FEAR IS THAT SHE WILL END UP TAKING THE KIDS OUT OF STATE (AGAIN) AND WE WON'T BE ABLE TO PROTECT THEM. SHE'S AN UNFIT MOTHER AND I BELIEVE I HAVE ENOUGH PROOF TO SUBSTANTIATE THAT CLAIM. WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS? WHAT AM I UP AGAINST?

and btw, if mom is proven unfit, dad is first in line for custody, his rights are greater then anyone else's
