Father in law to stay 2wks. has been here almost a year!

In March of 2000 we allowed my husbands father to stay with us after his mom through him out. What was supposed to be 2wks. has turned into almost a year! He lives in our garage, pays for NOTHING, has not showered the entire time he has been here so you can imagine what our garage looks like. We are renters ourselves and have kept him secret for this long, but we or I do not want this aggravation anymore. We ask him to leave nicely and rudely, nothing works! He states that he has every right to stay and that in order to make him leave we will have to evict him legally. Is this true? He is not a renter he was supposed to be just a visitor. Please Please help me!! I am about to have a baby in 9 wks. I don,t need this aggravation!

Look you had better tell that scumbag redneck he has to pay his own way in society, and he has to get out because the landlord could evict ALL of you for violating the lease....

You could call the police and have him arrested for trespassing, but the landlord will find out .

Also It is illegal to live in the garage......no kidding

So he'd better move fast or you and your baby will be living with YOUR PARENTS SOON!
