The Estate is in Illinois.

My father passed a year ago without a will. His land went to his four children. The land was quick deeded in all four of our names, I have bought out two of my siblings interest in the property, which now gives me over three quarter interest "controll" or to use a better word, ownership.

The last sibling is a problem child, He wont accept a buyout ... Police have been on the property three times looking for him and his associates, I am afraid that his behavings is going to cost us my fathers land...Drugs, jail, alcholism...you name it, he does it and I need to get him out. Do i have the right to initiate the sell of the property without his consent? Thier is an angle to this that I would rather not explain...You could probably figure it out though . The property has not been divided...one quarter still legaly belongs to him.

I hope I have explained this properly and thank you in advance.

You have no legal right to force a sale. Only the court can do so under petition of PARTITION. Go consult with a real estate attorney.
