What is the name of your state?la. I have a ? that someone may be able to answer. I have full custody of my daughter and have had her for the past eight years. My ex-wife has been in drug rehab, tried to commit suicide three times and has decided to move within the same area as I do. She is very threatning and wants unsupervised visitation with my daughter. In our divorce and child custody papers, the judge granted me full custody and visitation w/my ex-wife under my judgement and supervision only. I have an attorney and I am willing for my daughter to see her mother under supervised vistation under the court only. I want my daughter to have a relationship w/her mother, but she is really not safe. I have been transferred from Fl. to La. I spoke w/my attorney and she said it was perfectly fine to move, considering I have full custody and my daughter has not seen her mother in over a year because of her drug abuse and unstabel situation. I did notify my ex-wife by mail that we were moving , in good faith. Now, she is calling and harrassing my family saying that I skipped state and took off w. her daughter and that I will be arrested and she will have someone come and take my daughter away for good. She is a very ustable women, and my daughter doesn't even want to see her. She is 13. How can I stop the harrassment and if my attorney agreed that it was fine for me to leave the state why is she making this an issue? She does not pay child support, I never asked for it, and she rarely wants to see her daughter. She signed papers stating that she was giving up her daughter to me eight years ago, knowing that her visitation would be limited on her sobriety. What more can I do?

A lot may depend on what your order says, and what sort of notification/permission FL requires of you prior to removing the child from the state.
