I am from Indiana and I have a Dell computer that from the first week out of the box to the present, which is two years, have constantly given me problems. Dell admits the system has an extensive history of software problems but will only help fix the current complaint, not replace the system, which is what I want.

Do I have a case in small claims??

Thanks

warranty

The warranty is good till 2004, So I still have time to make them replace this computer?

Also they did offer to replace it with a used and rufurbished make and model of what I currently have. How kind of them.

I flatly refused!

You expect them to trade a brand new computer for a 2 year old computer? Don't hold your breath.

That was flatly stupid. They offered to replace your computer with a similar one. You are asking too much if you think you are going to get a brand new computer.

Let me state that I have spent "countless hours" on the phone with tech support to resolve one issue after another with this computer. I have had a tech out twice to replace a crashed hard drive and countless hours to reinstall my programs and files. This has been going on for two years, and as I have stated earlier, this all started from week one out of the box. I feel this system should have been replaced then.

Not stringing a customer along till their warrenty runs out!
