We live in the state in Texas. Wondering about the laws on landlords not keeping up repairs, properly making the repairs ( or not properly making them) and what the tenents can do to get them to comply with the lease agreement, as it states that they are responsible for the repairs. As tenents we continually notify them of the repairs and have to wait for them to do them, 1-2 weeks later. And also the repairs are not safely completed. What are we to do?? We have notified them in writing regarding the repairs. We are good tenents, our rent is paid on time and we are not destructive of the residence. What do we do??
