If federal agents come to your home to serve a search or arrest warrant, do they have to have local law enforcement with them? By local, I mean parish (county) law enforcement, not state police.
As a federal law enforcement officer, No I do not have to have the local LE with me when I execute a warrant. Local LE is usually involved with federal warrants if the agency (Federal level) requests it, the local agency is apart of a joint task force representing or the agency knows we are in the area and standsby just in case.
