Feeling Pretty Insecure.

What is the name of your state? California.

Hello, I was hoping to find information on possibly getting a restraining
order? The issue is that someone that I'am related to might be causiing
me problems around the town that I live in. I'am a disabilled person who
has parania problems. I live in private with my mother. During the last
several months I have had a lot of times where I felt that my neighbors
were talking about me as though they knew things about my past. Also
I'am missing very private information and posessions such as my birth
certificate, my GED document, all certificates having to do with my
education, very private personal things such as pictures and momentos
dating back to the time I was in High School. This is causing me duress
and making me very uncomfortable that someone is causing me problems
around town even making me feel that I'am in danger. I would like to know
how I could get a restrainging order so that a person not here mentioned
will stop causing problems for me. I'am pretty sure that I know who the
individuals are because I live alone and lock my doors and only one person
has been here at any one time who may have been doing this. Please let
me know the steps I can legally take to help me feel that this will stop.

Belizebreeze seems to be such a nice helpful person...... NOT.
a better answer would be go down to your local court house and talk with the clerk or you can call and find the procedure for your area. They will beable to provide you with the correct information. and as for the medication comment. Some people have way to much time on their hands posting outrageous comments.

Look at the facts we know.

Paranoid (prolly schizo) who thinks someone is out to get her.

If I am not misstaken thats the definition of afformentioned mental dissorder.

I think the person has been watching a few to many x-files.

Very true what you stated, BUT the question was not about a mental disorder or how to not feel certain ways. It was about getting a restraining order. Simple enough even though some extra background was added possibly guitar was just hoping for some sympathy.

As for the OP's question.

No there is nothing you can do here.

Suspicion of someone talking about you is not a case.
If you can get hard evidence then you have a case.
But I think in this case there is nothing here to go on.
