What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? I live in Colorado (Golden/Coal Creek Canyon). The new owner of the property I have a permanent road easement with put up a fence blocking access to my easement. What can I do?
Thanks,
Carol

Get an attorney to write him a warning letter about the easement.

you have this easement documented in your deed?

Do you use the easement regularly or is this some roadway you only use occasionally? Is it obvious you use this easement?

Have you spoken to the servient tenant? That is usually a good place to start. Sometimes a misunderstanding can be solved through a little communication.

**A: and if all that fails, knock down the fence.
