My son brought a new house 3 years ago. The
corner markers were there, and he placed
a nail in the utility poll to run a string
to the marker in front. To cut the message
short, he didn't have time to put up a fence.
Neighbors purchased the house next to him and
put up a chain link fence, and it is on my
son's side of the nail. The new neighbors
also placed a boat with a tent top next to the fence and is seen from my son's house and
the street. My son applied for permission from the civic assoc. to put up a wood fence. They approved of the fence. Now, the neighbors claim the wood fence is on their property. The civic assoc. (without
knowing where the property line is) has told
my son that he has to take the wood fence down. The civic asoc. also claims he has
to move some of the cars. We have two and
are currently living with him. There is
nothing in the deed restrictions that say
the cars can not be parked next to the driveway. These neighbors also have a black
cat which has scratched one of our cars on
the doors. The scratches are downward. The animal control people said we could place a trap out for the cat, and this made the people furious. They have complained about
everything to the Civic assoc. since they
moved in. They are in their fifties and my
son just turned 28, and lives in a much more
expensive house. In addition, he is married
to a Vietnamese lady and has been subject to
discrimination in this area. The next door
neighbor does not like the people in back of
us who are extremely nice people and have
never hurt anyone. This woman next door screams at this woman and has screamed at
her saying, "Hey, german lady, german lady
talk to me." It is obvious she does not
like foreigners, even tho the german lady
has been here for over forty years, but still
has a slight accent. Sorry, for the long
post. It is obvious that the civic assoc.
is also involved in discrimination.
Any suggestions. We live in Texas.
