We've had problems making our Farm Home payments. As a result, FHMA is taking action. They said they would no longer accept any payments from us, but they continue to cash the checks we've been sending in. Is this lawful?

It is to your benefit that they accept and cash your checks. Keep sending the checks in. Their office has a special dept. to help those "farmers" in need. Find out who is in charge and send a certified letter requesting assistance.
