What is the name of your state? Oregon
I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia approximately 2 years ago. I have ongoing health problems due to this that affect my ability to hold down a job. I am now working part-time but it is difficult. I am not able to do my previous job as a hairdresser. Does anyone know if you can get SSI with this condition??

No one could tell you that on an online forum, the condition may vary over time. It is possible that the condition might entitle you to worker's comp benefits if it was made worse by working, so you might contact a worker's comp attorney and/or your department of rehabiliation. SSI is needs based, SSDI is based on permenant disability for which FM alone usually doesn't qualify.
