What is the name of your state?TN. I am in the middle of a custody fight with my ex who lives in SC. He had been denying me visitation with our children because of his "work schedule". My attorney set a court date for January 4, 2006 and faxed some paperwork over to my ex's attorney. My ex's attorney called and asked for a parenting plan and my attorney said that was easy, just flip it to where mom has custody and ex has every other weekend. The next day, October 4, 2005, I received a call from my ex offering me this past weekend and the weekend of Oct. 21st. He said that the reason was because his "work schedule" had been fixed. I talked with my attorney the next day and she said the reason he is offering me the time is because of the custody fight.

Because he is now offering me time that I should have had, will this hurt my chance of getting custody of our children? There are other problems. Ex is violating the discipline agreement in our CO. Emotionally abusing our son (withholding affection as part of our son's punishment). Giving our children prescription medication w/o physician's approval. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I am not sure exactly what the dilema with this is, he has denied visitation, the judge will be made aware of that, that he is offering visitation now because of the court case is really not going to help him a lot, judges aren't that niave. Take advantage of the visits and follow the advice you have been given in your other threads.

WANNACRY- I have documented every time that I have asked my ex if I could see our children and he said no. I have emails from him telling me no. I am documenting everything as it happens. Thanks so much for the advice.
