What is the name of your state? MI

I am looking for a consumer oriented web site that reports how much
collection agencies that buy debt actually pay for it.
I would love to have this information for a case evalution hearing that I have yo go to.
I have not been able to find a good one as of late. I did look,
maybe I didnt use the correct heading in google . A newspaper article
would be great.

Thank you,

**A: you don't need a website. Depending upon the type of debt and aging factors, figure 10-40% of the principal amount.

Sorry, no such animal exists for specific purchases for the public. There are several 'debt purchase sites' limited to members only that auction portfolios and show the final sales price.
An example is at: http://www.debtmarketplace.com/pavail2.html

The term is "compensatory damages" or "actual damages."

Thanks
