What is the name of your state? Florida
My boyfriend's ex has posted a malicious and unfounded blog on her public site claiming all sorts of wrong doing by us. Allegations of vandalism and adultery by me. She actually states that I have a husband that I left for my current boyfriend. Well , that's a pretty serious charge for my boyfriend. (he's military) She's posted threats to his career saying that she will expose him to his command for adultery.....Anyway, like I said, all this could potentially be very damaging not only to his reputation but his career. I won't even get into the words she uses to describe me. I'm more concerned for him. I would like to have her served with some kind of warning that would bar her from making any public references to either of us. Then, at least we have something on record that she was warned. Is there a way to do this?

Thanks for any input!:)

Take the facts of your case along with some proof to an attorney. If the attorney feels you have proof and sufficient cause..then a cease and desist notice would probably be issued. provided the information that the person is spreading is false. When something is true it is not considered slander. It would be more of a person expressing their freedom of speech, it may be an ugly situation but if true you have do not have much recourse.
