What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CA
Hi,
In order to file for unemployment benefits, do I have to file at both State and Federal unemployment office?

No. Unemployment compensation benefits are provided by the State, not the federal government (unless you are a federal employee.) You file a claim with your local UC office.
