What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? OR

I'm not going to bother explaining why but I have a big problem with a local cop. I want to file an official complaint against him. Something that will go in his record. Something that could make him loose his job in the future if I'm not the only one complaining. (or add to the complaints he probably already has)

How do I go about doing this? Can I call the non emergency police number? Do I need to go down to the police station in person? Is there a specific type of complaint I can ask to be filed?

Call the local dept. and tell them you want to file a complaint. They'll explain the process.
