What is the name of your state? Georgia

Does anyone know how to file a Small Claims against an major internet site? The court says they have to have a business address in Atlanta but they are an internet site..I believe my county of residence is the correct jurisdiction but the internet site doesn't have a registered agent here. How can I file against them in my own county. I obviously can't afford to go to their HQ and do this in Texas..

Thanks!

You will have to sue in the home state of the owner of the web site. You answered one of the reasons yourself why suing in your home state won't work.

but the internet site doesn't have a registered agent here.
Even if you did sue despite the above, your Georgia judgment would be worthless in Texas unless you have it domesticated, it would be easier to sue in Texas. Plus Texas laws are not real friendly when it comes to collecting judgments. Unless the lawsuit is a substantial amount (say about 5 figures) and you have proof insuring a win in court, you might as well chock this up as an expensive lesson in dealing with folks across state lines.
