My husband and I are considering filing for bankrupcy. Is it possible for just him to fill without me? And if not, how long before we can buy a house? Will I still be able to get student loans....I have 2 years left.?????
Thanks !?!? We live in Louisiana

Some states allow a spouse to file alone. In Indiana, for example, one spouse can file without the other.

Some states do not allow that and require them to file together.

However, because you didn't give us your state name, no one will be able to answer your question.

I believe she edited it to add the state name.

If not, I blame it on middle-of-the-night insomnia....
