In the state of Florida is it legal to sue a public university if a professor administers a final examination after the semester ends and obligates students to take exam or their grade will be effected? The academic calender for the university clear states when the semester ends and the professor did not get back to students until 3 days after the class ended about taking a final. Thanks for your answers in advance, if this is a moot point i understand that as well.

Since access to courts is considered a fundamental right, almost any law restricting someone's rights to sue would be unconstitutional.

I'm not sure what the cause of action would be, but it would not be illegal to sue.

Have you tried making a formal complaint to the head of the department or the University about that? Telling students 3 days after class ended that they need to take a final seems completely unreasonable.
