finding a workmans comp doctor in Albuquerque NEW Mexico

New Mexico. Im moving to New Mexico in a couple of weeks Im on workmans comp for a back injury
Im lookinng for a doctor there that will bill wc,. I need a doctor thats agessive and not afraid of wc and will work with my lawyer. Ive called doctors in the phonebook and getting nowhere please if anyone knows ofsomeone please let me know , desperate. paws

I've never run across a doctor that won't bill someone's WC insurance carrier. Doctors LOVE worker's comp claims. Those bills are paid at 100% by the insurance carrier, as opposed to the doctor's office having to collect deductibles, co-insurance, and co-pays from the patient after their medical plan has paid their share.

If you can't find a doctor willing to treat you, then something else is going on here other than this just being a worker's comp situation.

i have been on wc for 5 years . just dont feel comfortable picking them out of the phone book.that agrees to take wc. my doctor doesnt know anyone in alb. He said to check around

Here's an idea

Why don't you try talking to your workman's comp case manager an asking him/her if there is a doctor in new mexico where your moving to....

I also think if you try this and your reply is they won't help me then BETH3 is right you not telling something that is causing you to not find a doctor
