I was one of two witnesses to a fatal car accident a few years ago. I have always been interested in finding out what kind of charges were brought up. Today, I purchased a copy of the Ohio Highway Patrol crash report, which was nothing more than 68 pages of my statements and the officers statements repeated five times. Not very helpful. Is there anyone that can get me any reports from the case? Thank You!

date of crash: 11-04-2002
responsible driver: Joseph Filchock
State of Ohio

Accident reports rarely have anything in them about legal stuff.

Go to the courthouse in the county where the accident happened and ask the circuit/district court clerk if any charges were filed against the person causing the accident.

Generally, this stuff is public info.

And run a Google search on just the state plus the name of who you think the responsible driver was. Very interesting.
