What is the name of your state? New Jersey Rental office and the agreement signed for an apartment states that in case of fire I will be responsible for damages, I got insurance for apartment but insurance agent told me that the Apartment Management cannot sue me in case of fire, Accidents do happen and wanted to know is Fire insurance available for Rental Apartment and would I be liable for any damages just in case???

Yep. Get new agent. Get new policy. Your policy should have $100k liability, at least $20k personal property, $5k medical payments. Good luck.
