IT is 4:30 am here and I have answered my own question for those of you who read my posting yesterday I was upset because my ex left my 4 year old son and I in 1992 and moved to CT. with no means of support. I was wondering if i should pay more money to have a Sherriff from texas fly up to CT. to arrest him on a capias warrant for failure to pay $18000.00 in back support and failure to apear. He has sidesteped every move I have made to collect support over the years and even worse he has had little to do with my son. I never stood in his way of seeing or calling his son even when he refused to pay support. I have a new husband now and my son calls him dad we have been married for 9 years now. I am going to spend the money and have him put in jail. I have never received a dime from any state agency. both my husband and I work and we want my son to go to collage and even though my husband said we can make it happen anyway I don't think its fair to let my ex off the hook. This happens to much to to many children.

Thanks,

I would if I could, just because all parents should be responsible for their children. However, I would not expect any money, but putting him in jail could shock him.
