washington, dc

my husband was fired because he was found guilty of 2 counts of sexual harassment. the women worked for my husband in correctional facility and they brought charges only after he wrote them up. what can we do he can't get another a job because he was terminated because of sexual harassment?

Bad reference

Unless he can somehow appeal the finding against him, there is no way to prevent the previous employer from giving a bad reference. As a practical suggestion, go to the library and read a book about getting a new job. Many have suggested ways of counteracting a boss who gives bad references, such as giving the name of co-workers or others in supervisory positions.
