What is the name of your state? Kentucky.

I met this guy, he taught a class i took. He offered me a job, i took it. I was going thru a divorce, and my father just died. Him and i became good friends and started dating. He was married, but said he was divorcing. Turns out it was all a lie on his part.. so i ended a relationship with him, and went away that same weekend. I came home to my apartment broken into, and all voicemails on my phone were deleted and all incoming calls were wiped out. No evidence was found for who did it. That same night while waiting for the cops to show for my B & E, he came over on that Sunday night real late and fired me, and made up all kinds of BS to justify it. He fired me because i ended things with him basically a couple days prior. We went to mediation and the issue was resolved.
NOW.... he is sueing me. My co-worker/friend bared witness to all this that transpired during my employment (threats and such) has told everyone that matters what transpired and word got back to his wife. So now he is sueing me for 'disparagment' (although my friend admits to telling the world) and the woman she told admits to hearing it from my friend. ALSO, my instant messanger profile, i will go on there and change it everyday and put different things down because i know my ex-boss/lover reads it daily, i say things to get under his skin (like "you lying coward"). In our agreement it says not to contact one another" which i havent, but my profile that i change, he is trying to say its me attempting to communicate with him... ALTHOUGH his name is not mentioned or nothing about him. Just my bitter feelings towards him and what he did. He also contacted me via instant messanger a last saturday and copied and pasted the first entry to make it appear as if i contacted him, which i didnt. So last monday i was served by the sheriff with this frivolous lawsuit. I have an attorney, but just wanted to get different input on the subject.

This man (former boss) is very crooked, i will be testify in an upcoming trial for illegal business he conducted while employed by him, and there are other lawsuits against him as well for illegal matters. Also, come to find out he has wrongfully terminated 2 other women not to long ago in the past because he didnt get his way. Neither did a thing about it. I was the first.

Anyone opinons?

With regards to him firing you because you ended the relationship, you pick up the phone and you call the EEOC.

As far as the rest goes, discuss it with your lawyer.

Please...

 Your replies are absolutely absurd. I am not originally from Ky. I am from Chicago, just ended up here. The former boss is trash, but is a former PGA golf pro from DC.

I just wanted other insight, other than what my attorney and associates have offered.

My response:

Who said anything that you need to originally be from Kentucky? The fact is that you're there, and anyone going into that Dufus State quickly becomes "Kentucky-fied" and soon turns into trailer trash. Just look at the story you wrote! It proves my point.

My response:

And you got it. Get back to civilization, and leave the single-wide trailer behind.

Go to un employeement and file, if they reject then ask for a appeal, in the appeal mention your case and they will turn it over to the correct court to confront the man and cover your losses.
