A Co-worker of mine is a bartender/server/part-time manager. She also babysat for the owners child. One day she was supposed to babysit at their house and was one hour late. They (the owners) took away her management responsibilities because they said the fact that she wasn't at their house at the correct time that this instance directly effected their business.
She was also informed yesterday that she has 3 write - ups (none of them was she informed about) and that "if she sneezes wrong she will be fired"! One of those write ups included the baby sitting issue.
Does she have any kind of case?
