hi i work in the state of new hampshire so i am considered at will employee but my question is this i had given my 2 weeks notice but was then asked to stay by my employer for one day a week until i wanted and i told them i would leave and i wouldn't give them a second notice so i stayed and today i came in and i told them it would be my last day working (which i consider to still be a notice even if it was nine hours) now my question is after two hours i was told to leave to punch out and go home ... will that constitute as being fired ? another question is i checked the dept of labor law and it says i have to be paid within 72 hours of getting fired or quitting can i was wondering if i can pursue that and how because they wont pay me they already said. also is it illegal for people to sign your name on documents like cash outs (which is a document printed every night explaing how much money you were short/over) isn't that forging? i hope someone can help thank you
