fired why? need job

Im in the UK i worked for a shop, I got fired for steeling a item with my other shopping worth £3.99.

I can not prove it was a acident but they can not prove i ment to steel it, so i got sacked.

I am taking it to appeal and may be Tribunal, what chances have i got to clear my name they can stick the job i just want to clear my name.

I want this other job but i dont want them to write to this job i got sacked from, will i not get the new job if they know i was sacked but i'm inasent but can not prove it.
