I own a restaurant in a strip center in which I have a "First ask clause" in my lease for the available spaces on both sides of my resstaurant. The landlord rented out one side to a bar who is finishing construction. I was not notified or offered the space and it was in my concept to eventually expand into both units. If asked, I would have taken unit. What is my options for enforcement or seeking damages against the landlord?
