first time homebuyer nightmare

a few months ago i asked if we had any recourse against mortgage broker that sold us our house in NM, we closed before remodel was done and now almost a year later our house still isn't complete and we can not get the mortgage broker to call us back or see us when we go to his office. we have also found out that the appraiser lied on our appraisel as well as many mistakes in our contract. we can't really afford an attorney. any suggestions on what we can do now would be greatly appreciated.
