I received a citation (12500a) for unlicensed California driver. Basically, I had moved to California but did not have my license in California yet. The policeman explained that my ticket was a "fix it" ticket but i think he accidentally checked the box that says "No" for Eligible for Dismissal. Does this seem ok? Is it still a fix it ticket? Is it up to the court to decide that? Thanks!

If he checked "no" under the dismissal eligibility, then you will have to present your valid CA license to the court.

Go to the DMV, get your valid CA license, and bring it with you to your arraignment (your first court date). You might be abl to get it settled then and there.
