Does anyone have any experience with annulments?

I plan to apply for one as my husband has not cooperated with me in my divorce efforts. (i.e. He fired his attorney and won't answer any of my attorney's phone calls, etc.)

We were married for three months when I filed for divorce after learning that he had only married me for a green card. (The idiot actually admitted it!) I spoke with several attorneys about an annulment and they advised to take the divorce route because it would be cheaper even though the marriage was fraudulent.

I learned of this Mexican annulment otion and was wondering if anyone knew of this type of alternative?

I have a 5 week old child that is his that was conceived prior to our marriage. I do not plan to seek child support, etc. as he has shown no interest in the child and I wish to cut my losses. The marriage was NEVER consummated.
