I recently pruchased a Certified pre-owned Volvo for a dealership. I did not purchase the Certified Warranty because of the finance companies offer. 48 hrs after purchase, I found out the vehicle had been in an accident and the driver door and fender repainted. The headlight points up about 3 feet too high. I contacted the dealership and they said they were not aware and would pull Carfax. AFTER 72 hrs, they got back to me and said Carfax was clean. Big Suprise, if the damage isn't reported to the DMV, it won't be on Carfax. I brought the car to the dealership and they are offering to do a shabby repair job. Their 130 point inspection says the car has no paint work or damage!! Do I have any case against them to fix the car right or replace the car??
