Can any Florida attorney tell me the appropriate statue to quote regarding the normal and/or maximum length of time that child support for minor children is NORMALLY allowed. The current agreement is a legak, divorce agreement with child support ending when the each child turns 18. Both children will in fact have 1-2 years of High School left before graduating. We want to petition the court to have the child support term lengthened. But, first we want to ask the father, through a personal memo to increase the term, voluntarily. We however want to have the legal statue to include in this memo, because we are sure he will show it to his attorney friend. Thank-you.

uh-oh! Change those statues to statutes before our attorney friends have a lot of fun with you and we're reading about their favorite statues.

It is 18 and left high school.. if they have not finished high school it is 19. There is no provision for CS past 19 in FL unless there is something wrong with the children, ie, some form of disability.
