Hello, does FMLA allow 12 weeks of time off per year? Is this calender year, rolling etc?

I took 2 week of FMLA leave in September of 2007 and again five weeks in June of this year. so a total of 7 weeks.

Now that when i am asking for two weeks of time off, I am being told that I have used all of my FMLA leave and I have to wait one full year before applying for FMLA again. Are there any hours calculations that I missed. It there a maximum per company? I am really confused by the answeres given by the HR dept. I work for a large company with 15,000 employees...

I am a full time employee, 40 hrs a week for the past three years with this company.

Thanks for your time. All the best.

There are several different ways of managing the 12 month period. It can be a rolling year or a calendar year. It's up to the employer which method to use.

You'll need to ask your employer to explain. I'm not seeing how you have used all the time but I don't have the records either.
