What is the name of your state? TN - but its irrelevant to the ?
Ok.. IAAL, legal guys/gals, I have a question for ya.
Some 'legal tactic' being thrown around recently, to be supposedly used to get a judgment vacated, or to even fight one, is 'nunc pro tunc'.
The way *I* understand it, this claims 'clerical error', blaming the court clerk for screwing up. On challenge, this person defends this so-called strategy as being effective for more than 'clerical error'.
I'd kinda like to hear IAAL's official professorial definition/take on this.. and any other lawyer's for that matter - if ya don't mind. I hate to see people misled by following this person's advice if its totally off base.
Thanks
