Our employee handbook states that California employees in accordance with the Labor Laws for our state allow us to carry over unused accrued PTO. However, they are forcing us to use up all of our time before the new year and not giving us the option like the handbook states to carry over.

It does not state in the handbook that we should be using the PTO witin the same year it is accrued as they gave in their response to my inquiry.

And they are forcing us as well to "calculate" our PTO for the year and have it booked by Feb. 26th.

Is this correct?
