If I have PTO and don't want to use it right now, can my employer make me use it to cover a sick day?

That's what PTO is for and, just for the education of other readers, this would be true in EVERY state.

And, if you are an exempt employee, the odds are the company would have to pay you anyway, so why wouldn't they require such pay be substituted with PTO?
