This is a Kentucky issue so you would have to know the KRS.
If you are willing to look it up and tell me if there is any chance of recovery of property from a landlord after he has seized a business without legal power to do so. I would appreciate a response.

Extra information about the locking of the Door of my apartment

The first day of the month the door was locked when I returned to my apartment in the evening. The usual rent day was the 15th of the month. The landlord decided to require the rent in advance. He made his request by locking the door. I wen to town to contact the authorities they rejected all of my requests. I moved into an motel and contacted the lawyer. It was the day I was to take the
test to work as a data entry worker for the Post Office.
The lawyer, Allen V. Graf is the expert in tenant/landlord law in the area. He is reccommended by the Barren River Legal Aid office. He said he would call the lalndlord and see what he could do. He managed to get a chance to return to the apartment to move my possessions within the month.
I could not get a mover to agree to move me within the required time. They require a six months notice before they will start. I went to the apartment and was allowed to move as much as I could carry in luggage. Then the door was locked again. The lawyer said that was all he could do.
I have been trying to recover my possessions ever since then. I have reached several attorneys but could not find one willing to take a case involving landlords/tenants.
I have contacted the police and they refused to do anything. I contacted the prosecutors of the state and county they both refused.
I spent all of my money, $50,000.00 living and trying to reach someone who would help. Noone is willing.
The money was my inheritance.
