Ford Contour 2000 Intake Manifold Gasket Problem

I have Ford Contour 2000 with 50K miles. This car has had so many problems. To add, this morning it was found that it has Intake manifold Gasket leak. The bill is $500. I would like to know if other users have had this problem.

is this car a contour SVT and what size engine is in it?


many times with these types of larger repair type issues on relatively low mile cars the manufacturer will pick up 1/2 or sometimes more of the repair bill provided you have the work done at their garage.

if you can answer my question I will pull any recalls or TSB's related to this vehicle.
