What is the name of your state? Indiana

I am in arrears on my mortgage, and have been working with my lender. I have a payment plan set up with them, and can afford the slightly higher payments for 18 months, but because I had a rather extensive auto repair, I do not have the down payment money, which is due next week.

I have an appointment with a Chapter 13 bankruptcy attorney next Monday - the day the down payment is due to my lender. I am also in contact with a company called MyHouseSaver. They profess to be a mediator. I have also left a message with my contact in the Homeowner's Assistance Department with my lender telling her my problem.

I am unsure what else to do at this point. I can't afford to loose my home, and I am running out of time. Can anyone advise me?

**A: you need to be talking with your BK attorney.
